1When I’m experiencing a fire damage emergency, who do I call first, Clean Opps or my insurance company?
First the most important thing is to make sure everyone on the premises is safe, then contact Clean opps directly through our emergency contact line so we can have our crew come to you immediately to assess the damages from the fire and smoke. Do not go near any of the affected areas by any means as our crew of trained professionals upon arrival will take care of everything and guide you through the process of filing a claim.
2What is the fire damage restoration process?
Once you call Clean opps to have our crew come to you we will assess all damages. We will start by removing all water and debris to clear the area. Next all building materials like sheetrock, plaster and/or carpet will be removed if severely affected by smoke damage as well as water damage from extinguishing the fire. We will then install our drying equipment to prevent extensive water damage or mold growth as well as HEPA air filtering machines to ensure that the air is clean from contaminants. 
3How long will the remediation process take?
The length of the job will all be dependent on the severity of the damage. Of course we respect your time and will do everything in our power to make sure the job is completed as quickly as possible to return your property to its original state. We do take pride in our work in making sure the job is done the right way to ensure that you are happy and safe.
4How much will the fire remediation process cost?
The cost of remediation work can vary however we work directly with your insurance company to reach an agreed upon price for our services. Therefore as a result there will be no out of pocket cost for you.
5What are the signs of fire or smoke damage?
As a result of a fire you will see signs of soot or smoke stains on walls and/or ceilings. Carpets and/or curtains may also show signs of smoke damage and you may find signs of corrosion on metal hardware.
6What are common effects of fire damage?
There will be clear signs of stainings and a strong smell. Fire damage can also greatly affect the quality of the air making it toxic to breathe in. Which is why it is so imperative for our top of the line crew to get to your property as soon as possible to properly assess, clean and restore it.

When water and/or flood damage is first noticed you will want to make sure everyone on the premises is safe, then call Clean opps immediately. We will have our crew of water mitigation specialists come to your property and assess the damages to determine whether or not a claim should be filed with your insurance company.

4What are the signs of water damage?
In order to detect signs of water and/or flood damage you may notice discoloration on ceilings and'or walls. Drywall and paint will begin to show signs of cracking, flaking or bubbling. You can also use smell and sound to detect it as you will be able to hear running water in places it shouldn't or be able to notice a musty/moldy smell.
5What can happen if water damage is not remediated properly?
If water damage goes left untreated it can result in mold growth, which can have a negative affect on your health and also result in a large cost for mold remediation. This is something very serious and can make the process take much longer so do not hesitate to call Clean opps!
